2017 NFL Picks Week 7

The Chiefs did not preserve their perfect record as I predicted, but Sunday’s meeting between Pittsburgh and Kansas City saw the Steelers cover the number and the UNDER 47 come through easily. That brings our season total involving Kansas City games to 6-1. We’ll look to make it 7-1 tomorrow night as we’re going to take Andy Reid’s crew at -3 against the spreadĀ opposite division rival Oakland.

While last week featured KC in an ugly ATS role, this week has the team in a spot where Reid’s squads have excelled. Since Reid took over, the Chiefs are 8-0 against the spread when coming off a game in which they scored fewer than 14 points. Make the Chiefs a favorite in that situation during Reid’s tenure and they are 6-0 both straight up and against the spread, winning by an average of 16.2 points per game while averaging 26.2 per contest.

For good measure, KC is 7-1 straight up and 6-2 against the spread versus Oakland with Reid on the sideline. The Chiefs have won the last five meetings between the bitter rivals by an average of 12.4 per game.
